- Take remedial action if ammonia,
nitrite, or nitrate levels are too high
- Change 10 percent of the tank volume
twice per month, using the opportunity to siphon debris from the bottom
- Remove algae from aquarium
- Prune plants
- Stock additional fish
- Update Aquarium Maintenance Log
